The Urban Equestrian Academy is a groundbreaking new social enterprise. Actually we are a bit more than that. We are a family, we are a movement and we are a bridge - helping to open doors that have not been visibly present before in the Equestrian world.
The Urban Equestrian Academy's ethos is focused on widening the participation of those with the least experience in the Equestrian world and also individuals who have the least access to it. This helps with cost and accessibility when connecting with the Equestrian world.
Our equine programmes/services are especially beneficial to inner-city children, faith groups, specialist organisations and specific communities such as BEM communities. Anybody who wants to connect with equestrianism we do all we can to support their journey.
We have been blessed with a talented and hardworking team of staff and volunteers who are the heartbeat of everything we do. Our CEO Freedom Zampaladus has tirelessly spearheaded and inspired us and the community with his dedication, skill and passion for equestrianism to a position where we are very pleased to announce - our own riding school.

Our Equestrian Centre is the first stepping stone on the journey where The Urban Equestrian Academy hopes to inspire, encourage and support children, teenagers and adults of all backgrounds on their pathway on their journey in the world of equestrianism. We will continue to put the hard work in every single day to make this possible. We are here because we have had the invaluable support of our local and wider community in Leicester, as well as so many other organisations, businesses and people who have kindly donated money, expertise and their time. We would like to say a special thank you for all your support and kind donations. Every single penny has helped us and especially the kids who are involved in our equestrian programmes. Therefore it seems fitting that you get to hear their journey and how they have excelled, grown in confidence and established a real passion for horses and everything equestrian. Every step they have taken has been an inspirational one.
